May 31/2022. 1982 was a very big year for me, musically as well as with movies. I was 20 and heavily immersed in guitar solos, and buying guitar albums every week. The late 70's and early 80's were the foundation of influences that I've built upon for the next 40 years.
Many of my favorite guitar albums from my favorite players came out in 1982. Michael Schenker group 'Assault attack', Hughes/Thrall, Santers 'racing time', Pat Travers 'Black Pearl', Gamma 3 from Ronnie Montrose, Gary Moore 'Corridors of power', Frank Marino 'Juggernaut'.
